Carlotta Orta investigates the act of repetition as a form of transformation. Each piece is constructed of a group of individual singular gestures, imperfect, and unique. These miniscule marks come together to create a larger gestalt. This contained form vibrates and resonates with our physical energy and serves as an aniconic altar, a focal point – a passage into much needed awareness.
